We offer a wide range of programs, from our meals for the hungry to support for veterans, adult education, to our popular Lamplighter Coffeehouse. No person is denied services or participation on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, handicap, age, creed, belief, sex, or political affiliation. We do it all with volunteers and through your generous donations.
Your generosity changes lives!
See what they saying:
We came with our children because we both lost our jobs and had no money for food for the weekend.
The Ark gave us food, some toys, and clothes for the kids. We were so grateful. And now we are volunteers!

ParentsI took the veteran’s guitar class and got to keep the guitar I used. I also went to Veteran’s Lunch and PTSD group.
I play my guitar at Coffeehouse and to help when I have nightmares and stuff.

VeteranI come for meals and I get a little bag of soap, shampoo, toothpaste and stuff too. Today, I got a warm coat because mine was old and falling apart.
Those people at the Ark don’t stop helping. Even when their building burned, they stood outside in the cold to serve us food.

HomelessMy daughter has been in trouble with the law, but when the Court assigned her to work at the Ark, she learned to value her life differently.
It’s not all smooth sailing now, but she is a changed girl. I cannot say how much I appreciate the Ark’s supporters for making this possible.
