Thanks to you who answered God’s call for Ark needs in November: We appreciate our dear friend, a recent widow, for donating much needed men’s clothing. To Joe and Corieta Strickland, we join a family of three generations in gratitude, from the bottom of our hearts, for the house you provided.
Many thanks to Cathy Spaulding, Muskogee Phoenix, for the November 13th article about our holiday needs. We thank the Ray’s House volunteers who mowed our lawn, the Lion’s and Rotary Clubs, and local grocery stores that assured we had food and supplies to give to those in need due to the pandemic. To several donors who asked to remain anonymous we appreciate the funds for maintaining our building and programs and Christmas gifts for veterans.
Blessings to Jim Dum for the turkeys, and to our longtime friends and supporters for sweet potatoes, dressing, and green beans for Thanksgiving dinner. Although we were sorry to change the day of celebration due to pandemic restrictions, we were grateful to be able to serve meals to 9 participants at a time as we rotated throughout the day who all helped clean and sanitize for the next 9 coming. The Ark exists because of our Triune God and EACH of you – all ethnicities, cultures, skills, talents, gifts, and prayers. We thank you for your dedication as we continue to do the Matthew 25:35-40 work of caring for our neighbors as if doing it for our Savior.
NOTE:
Thanks to everyone for wearing masks and cooperating with our safety precautions!
