Those seeking assistance for the first time are walked through our process step-by-step to ensure that we fully understand their needs and provide them with as much information, encouragement and services as possible.
Participants are asked to volunteer for one hour before receiving assistance.
We ask for assistance not to enslave anyone, but in an effort to free them. We all work side-by-side for the good of each other as we give and receive. Every volunteer hour helps us stay organized and focused on the reasons we’re open: to fill basic needs of people in need.
The Ark of Faith is run solely with volunteer staff and help from our programs’ recipients. Many people from different walks of life, various faiths, and with varied talents are organized in this non-denominational setting to serve those in need.
“Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?”
