Thanks to you who answered God’s call for Ark needs in March: We are grateful for the Muskogee Fire and Police Departments, Amy Avery, Cathy Spaulding, area media, and volunteer cleaners for fast action during the fire in our building on 401 East Broadway. We so appreciate the local stores and restaurants that donate food to serve homeless people and senior citizens even though we have no facilities. Thank God for our all-volunteer Board and staff who faithfully continue to give our meals, clothing, and hygiene kits. We ask God’s blessings for our daily prayer warriors who intercede for our work and the big decisions ahead regarding restoration after the fire. Blessings also for Jack Crow’s wise counsel. Thanks to Milt Palmer and Mobile Missionary Assistance Program (MMAP) for volunteer skilled workers. Our gratitude to our financial donors for Ark building and operating costs and to the Oklahoma churches that support various of our programs. Heartfelt thanks to Muskogee Presbyterian Church for hosting our 40-year celebration since we cannot do Open House in our burned building. Special thanks to Barbara McAlister and Dana Tiger for coordinating restoration of the Ark’s famed Acee Blue Eagle wall murals. Thanks to Gene Ruth Brumbach for assisting Garry with devotionals. Gratitude for community members and supporters, restaurants and churches who call to encourage us and offer building space as needed. The Ark exists because of our Triune God and EACH of your ethnicities, cultures, skills, talents, gifts, and prayers. We thank you for your Matthew 25:35-40 work of caring for our neighbors as if doing it for our Savior.
