Thanks to you who answered God’s call for Ark needs in July: Offerings continue to come in for assistance and work to repair the historic Ark building and 429 East Broadway, our interim location. We are grateful to our homeless participants who willingly work doing the hard labor of cleanup and restoration with us, daily removing trash, and hauling it to the city dump. Heartfelt thanks for anonymous donations of furniture and furniture repair, deaf Bibles, men’s Bibles, and men’s clothing. We are humbled by increased donations of money, food, and stores offering discounts none of whom want public credit for their generosity. We thank God for each of you who helps us physically and encourages us spiritually. We are excited as we plan for donated skilled and unskilled labor from Ozark Christian College students and Mobile Missionary Assistance Program (MMAPers). Thank God for our all-volunteer Board and staff who faithfully continue to oversee our efforts, give out meals and hygiene kits, and keep the Ark running. We so appreciate the help and donations from Lona Valley Church congregation that regularly sends $550. We thank Leisha Haworth for the Wurlitzer piano and a large coffee urn and Linda Waters’ Sunday school class for books. Our gratitude to those offering paid work for our homeless participants who are able. We appreciate Mike Linney for his years of Ark board service as he leaves his term of office for God’s next adventure. Our constant gratitude for our regular Prayer Warriors. Thank God for our volunteers who, faithfully, continue to give out meals and hygiene kits and keep the Ark running. The Ark exists because of our Triune God and EACH of your ethnicities, cultures, skills, talents, gifts, and prayers. We thank you for your Matthew 25:35-40 work of caring for our neighbors as if doing it for our Savior.
