Monthly Messages from Sally Weiesnbach, Ark Founder & Director of Operations
“‘Come now, let us reason together,’ sayeth the Lord: ‘Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.’” (Isaiah 1:18, KJV)
I am hoping that the coming year will be good to you in every possible way! Each of us functions best in joy and peace. My prayer for each of you is that whatever happens (pain, loss, or immense sadness) that each of you may be experiencing right now or from past memories, you still will be given power to have joy in the Spirit, in Jesus’ name.
Isaiah 2:17 (KJV) says, “…and the Lord alone shall be exalted on that day.” God cautions that some of us are “…a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts.” (Isaiah 65:2, KJV) Friends, do not follow your own thoughts because that way “…ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake ye did not hear…” (Isaiah 65:12)
But in verse 14 of those who obey God says, “Behold my servants shall sing for joy…” We each have a choice! “And it shall come to pass, before they or you call for me, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” (Isaiah 65:24)Praise God, Christmas is coming! This is a time to praise Father God and “…His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16, KJV)
I was reading in my old Bible, given to me with my name written in it and reflecting on this: “I have put My words in your mouth, and covered you with the shadow of My hand, to establish the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’ ” (Isaiah 51:16, KJV) and also this: “He (Jesus) was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our transgressions: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)
We are celebrating Jesus’ birthday. Oh Holy Spirit, help us to “…be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2)
Thank you, Father God, for giving Jesus to each of us. I pray that we choose to receive Him and serve Him. Father God, will You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit come together with us and celebrate this Christmas?
How precious are you, Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit! You created each and every one of us for Your special purposes. We are each unique, genuine, and can be vibrant and caring through our individual gifts. “For we are His workmanship, united in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10, KJV) Merry Christmas to each and every one of us!
