Volunteers and donations needed for holiday programs
This holiday season –more than ever– The Ark is calling for volunteers and donations for our neediest citizens.
For our Thanksgiving meal for the homeless on Wednesday, Nov. 24, we will need donations of cooked turkeys and hams, sides, and salads, and of course paper goods for serving. We also need volunteers to help with serving.
We are gathering donations for our Teen Christmas Shoppe in December! See how to donate and some suggestions for donations here.
Call the Ark 918-682-8411 to donate food or help with preparations.

Ark Volunteers Honored
Ark Super-Volunteers Margo Stanford and Steve House were honored recently for their hard work with the Nonprofit Resource Center’s Neighbors Building Neighborhoods. Thank you, Margo and Steve, for all that you do to serve our community!
And thanks to you who answered God’s call for Ark needs in May: The Ark and our neighbors continue thanking Ray’s House residents for mowing and edging the lawn. We are also grateful to the volunteers who anonymously care for indoor and outdoor plants at the Ark. Thank you to our much-appreciated anonymous donors for adding to the funds to purchase guitars and other necessities for veterans in our classes and programs. A big thank you to First United Methodist Women for continuing to provide food for coffeehouses through the summer months. Our gratitude to Dana Denson for providing devotional at Veteran’s lunch in May.
The Ark runs solely with the help of volunteers like YOU. Contact Us to find out more about being an Ark Volunteer.
