Thanks to you who answered God’s call for Ark needs in April: We thank Muskogee Presbyterian Church for hosting our 40th Anniversary celebration April 10. We are grateful for anonymous donors of $600 at that celebration, premium payments for continuing our building insurance, and $1200 to use “as needs arise.” Thanks to Dorothy Sandlin and Jack Pevehouse for $100 each, to Bob & Elaine Brownell for $250, and the Muskogee Lions Club for $750. Our gratitude to the volunteer cleaners from two churches for help with restoration labor. We so appreciate Don & Debbie Coy for furnishings replacing those lost in the fire. We are thankful to learn our insurance claim will be paid and that our friends at Ray’s House committed to maintain the grounds of both properties. We’d like to acknowledge all our PayPal donors whose gifts totaled more than $7000. Thanks to Cathy Spaulding at Muskogee Phoenix for continuing coverage of our needs and to Sadler Paper Company for their gifts that help us serve meals and even take out the trash. Thanks to you who answered God’s call for Ark needs in March: We are grateful for the Muskogee Fire and Police Departments, Amy Avery, Cathy Spaulding, area media, and volunteer cleaners for fast action during the fire in our building on 401 East Broadway. We so appreciate the local stores and restaurants that donate food to serve homeless people and senior citizens even though we have no facilities. Thank God for our all-volunteer Board and staff who faithfully continue to give our meals, clothing, and hygiene kits. Thanks to you who answered God’s call for Ark needs in February: We are grateful for steam cleaning of all furniture and window repairs. We are blessed to receive $2500 from a regular donor that came at just the right time for repairs. during this recent bad weather and storms. We appreciate the Ray’s House volunteers who mow the Ark’s lawn. The local stores and restaurants that donate food to serve homeless people and senior citizens through nursing homes, fire houses, Ray’s House, and the Muskogee Police Department are a blessing. As always, we appreciate our all-volunteer Board and staff who faithfully keep the Ark running and in condition to serve.
