Seeking guitars and more for veterans

Guitars, ukuleles, autoharps, and more are needed for our Veterans’ Guitar Class!

Class is free for veterans and happens every Thursday evening, 6:15 – 8:15 pm, in Feburary and March.

  • We provide an instrument, music and instructor.
  • Vets attend all classes to complete the beginner course and you get to keep the instrument you learn!
  • Snacks provided. (Vets rotate KP for the class area.)

> The Ark is still accepting donations of instruments or cash to purchase instruments for this very popular event.

Open Classes

The Ark regularly offers court-approved courses. Attendance for all classes is mandatory to get a certificate of completion.

Our facilities at 401 East Broadway are closed due to fire on March 7, 2022. We are now serving meals and holding other events at 429 E. Broadway! Look for our sign, and check back for announcements of classes and programs.
